Klean Bath and Body

I know, websites don't have a smell.

But I could swear I catch a really faint whiff of something every time I pull this one up.

KleanKlean Bath and Body "seeks to introduce consumers to a high-end spa experience in their own home."  Sounds good to me.

Look through their site and check out all the gorgeously packaged (and affordable priced!) offerings.  The Devil Made Me Do It Body Polish has me very tempted.  I love me some exfoliation!

There's even a "specials" link for extra affordable pampering.

Klean Bath and Body is generously offering TWO lucky winners a Scrub Club membership.  Each month for three months, these winners will receive a delectable 5-ounce KLEAN Sugar Body Polish in the mail.  Each one is a $55 value.

Here's how you can win:

::  Head over to Klean Bath and Body and look through their products.

::  Come back here and leave a comment saying which product looks yummiest to you.

::  I'll leave comments open until Friday, October 5.  I'll use a random number generator to draw the two winners' names.

::  This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. only.

Have fun, and come back tomorrow for some jewelry goodness!

Cool Stuff 2.0

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

On the heels of DK Publishing's successful book, Cool Stuff and How It Works, they've published a second volume for your tech-savvy kids:  Cool Stuff 2.0

From their website:

This spectacular book shows and explains, in a brilliantly visual and easy-to-understand way, exactly how the technology that shapes our world works. Taking the reader on an eye-opening journey from the engine of a hydrogen-fuelled car, into the virtual world of Second Life, and up the earthquake-proofed structure of the world’s tallest office building, learn about the science behind every machine and gadget, and find out when and how things were invented—from mobile phones and games consoles to smart cards and space planes.

My kids ask me about that stuff all the time, so I'm eager to check out this new book for my own question-asking crew.

DK Publishing is offering FIVE readers here a chance to win a copy.  Here's what you need to do:

::  Leave a comment here--any ol' comment!

::  I'll close comments on Tuesday, 10/2, and I'll use a random number generator to draw five lucky winners.

::  This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. only.

Have fun, and I'll see you back here next week for more great giveaways!

An Update...

An update to the earlier giveaway from Olive Kids:

Olive Kids

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

Ok_logoI'm not a fan of "character" kids' bedding.  Popular characters move in and out of popularity too quickly; plus, it's a little disconcerting to gaze lovingly at your child while they're sleeping, only to see a big SpongeBob staring up at you from his comforter.

The people who started the company Olive Kids felt the same way.  They were looking for cute, affordable kids' bedding that was NOT tied into the summer's biggest blockbuster.  When they couldn't find any, they designed some themselves!

OkcowboyThey explain:

Our emphasis is on color and fun. Our designs have a nostalgic quality yet are fresh and relevant. We aim our designs at nature, play, toys, music and classical kids themes. We try to have something big for everyone little.

Not only do they offer really cute bedding (at impressive prices, when you compare it to places like Pottery Barn), but they have just about every imaginable coordinating accessory, from clocks to wall art to growth charts.

Olive Kids is offering one lucky person a complete bedding set (comforter and shams) of your choice--any size (retail value $89.99 - $99.99).  Here's how you can win:

:: Head over to Olive Kids and look around at all the cute designs.

:: Come back here and leave a comment saying which one is your favorite!  (I confess that I'm partial to the cowboy design, above right.)

:: I'll leave comments open until Monday, 10/1.  Then I'll use a random number generator to draw a winner.

:: This giveaway is open to anyone, regardless of where you live.  No duplicate comments, please.

Have fun, and come back tomorrow for a giveaway that will be a headstart on Christmas shopping for your favorite brainy kid!

Oopsie Dazie

Oopsiedazie

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

As the momma of a daughter with a head full of thick hair, I confess a particular weakness for hair accessories.  The funkier, the better.

That's why it was so fun to stumble onto Oopsie Dazie, a mom-owned boutique specializing in the adorable little hair clips pictured at right.

One of the many things that sets this company apart is the endless number of ribbon and topper combinations.  It's very possible that a clip could be one-of-a-kind.

AND (I love this) these hair clips are bargain-priced at only $2 or $3 each, depending on size.  It's an affordable way to spruce up a special outfit.  Don't miss their cute pony-tail holders and headbands as well.

Oopsie Dazie is generously offering TWO winners their choice of any two hair items in their shop.  Here's how you can win:

:: Head over to Oopsie Dazie and look through all the choices (click on "I wanna order some").

:: Come back here and leave a comment saying what product (and what ribbon!) you'd pick.  Don't worry, you can change your mind later if you win.

:: I'll keep comments open until Sunday, 9/30.  Then I'll use a random number generator to select TWO winners.

:: This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. only.  No duplicate comments, please!

Have fun, and come back tomorrow for a chance to win an entire kids' bedding set!

Organizing Bags

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

Lara Gallagher, whom many of you know as The Lazy Organizer, has invented a whole slew of bags for keeping moms-on-the go neatly and easily organized.  "You can see exactly what’s inside," she says, "and best of all they take up less space than a box!"

For example, the smallest bag is full of things you would find at the bottom of your purse.

Bag1

Lara offers tons of other bags, for organizing everything from receipts to diapers to magazines to puzzles.   I'm not going to list them all out here, because I want you to go to her site and see them for yourselves!

While you're looking around her site, don't miss her cute collection of hooks.  I'M A BIG BELIEVER IN HOOKS around here--we hang up everything but the children themselves.  And there have been days I nearly stuck them on the hook wall as well.

Lara has graciously offered to give away an Organizing Bag Sample Pack--that's EIGHT different bags, with at least one of each size.  The retail value is only $30, which, if you ask me, is a pretty good price to pay for finally getting on top of all the clutter.  Here's how you can win.

--Head over to Lara's site and look through all the Organizing Bags she offers.

--Come back here and leave a comment saying which size bag looks like it would most helpful in your own life.

--I'll leave comments until Friday, 9/28.  Then I'll use a random number generator to draw one lucky winner.

--This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada.

Have fun, and come back tomorrow for a chance to win a purse that will have you drooling on your keyboards.

Casting Crowns

Cc_2 I don't talk to my CD player very often.  Except when I listen to a Casting Crowns CD.  Because when I do, there is a bunch of "Yes!" and "Sing it!" and "Mmmm-hmmmm...." from me directed right at my dashboard.  If you've ever heard any Casting Crowns, you know why--their songs are as meaty and bold and hard-hitting as any Christian artist's out there.  You might just squirm in your seat a little.

Their new CD is no exception.  I have my own copy of The Altar and the Door, and all I can say is--GO GET THIS CD.  Track four ("East to West") made me weep.  And I'm not generally a weeper.

Guess what?  I have FIVE copies of the The Altar and Door up for giveaway today.  If you'd like to try this fabulous collection of songs, leave a comment below.  I'll keep the comments open until Tuesday, 9/25, and then I'll use a random number generator to draw five winners.  This giveaway is open to anyone in the U.S. or Canada.

And while you're at it, you might spend some time browsing around Casting Crowns' website--it's as compelling as their music.

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
