No creative thoughts today, folks, so instead I'll mooch off the brilliance of others. If you're looking for some good reads, here are some finds:
Susie Pie has some funny--and insightful--commentary on the State of the Union address. She talks of watching the speech during the Clinton years and says "I can remember drawing '666' with a dry-erase marker on the television on the forehead of Bill Clinton during the 90's. And no, I'm not kidding..." She is one funny chickadee.
Heth at From Under the Laundry Pile writes "this was a day completely worth plucking my eyebrows for." Now that is a profound statement. I have adopted the word "pluck-worthy" as my Word of the Year. As always, Heth, clever thinking!
I read many blogs, but none makes me think as much as Mommy Life. Barbara writes with conviction, gentleness, honesty and kindness--a rare combination. I love this blog.
As long as your thinking cap is on, another fine blog is Godward Thoughts. It's an excellent source of quotes and writings from some heroes of the faith.
And one more...MomRN2 writes a beautiful post that pays tribute to our men and women of the armed forces--it's very touching, so take your Kleenex with you.
So, what are your latest and favorite blogging "finds"?
