***LOST SPOILER ALERT!***
Dare I say it? I have loved this show for so long, but tonight's episode? Has it finally gone OFF THE DEEP END? The whole Desmond/time-travel thing is blowing my mind--my head hurts just trying to put it all together. Let me get this straight: Desmond decided to buck "destiny" in the bar and warn his friend, and he is therefore thrown out of the time travel loop. Is that right?
This whole thing might even be a redeemable plot twist, except for the crazy lady in the jewelry store: who is she? Does she work for Dharma? How does she know Desmond? The longer I watch this show, the more I'm beginning to doubt that the writers are going to be able to tie up all these loose ends. Is anyone else worried about that?
And Charlie...going to die? Surely, surely these writers have the good sense not to kill off our Charlie! Claire needs him!
All in all, it was a good episode, but more questions than answers. The previews from next week look like we'll be getting three of the "biggest mysteries" resolved (which means, of course, that they'll be introducting five new ones in their place, right?)
