Honestly? I kind of regret starting this little post-Lost recap, because I've learned there are only so many ways to say I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON. In no particular order, here are my observations from tonight's show:
Sawyer is another step closer to being a good guy. I LOVE it. (How about his quote of the night, "your baby isn't as wrinkly as he was a couple of weeks ago." Love that guy.) And yay for Hurley, pushing Sawyer further down the high road.
Looks like Sayid is going to open up a can of you-know-what on ol' Juliet next week. And I say, bring it on. Something's not quite right about that girl.
Speaking of Juliet, was anyone else puzzled by her statement about the monster: "we don't know what it is, but we know it doesn't like our fence?" That whole black-smoke monster storyline has befuddled me from Day One.
And you know what else befuddles me? (Actually, there are 4,298 things that befuddle me about this show, but do you what one of them is?) What is the deal with all the characters' storylines being intertwined in the flashbacks? I can't help but feel that the answer to that question is going to shed a lot of light on many of the other mysteries.
And...that's it. I'm going to go bang my head against a wall for a few minutes before going to sleep, to dream of creepy black smoke.
That darn show. Couldn't stop watching it if I wanted to.
