Reason #473 That Man Makes Me Laugh

Hubs:  [Stopping as we walked into a restaurant, and pointing at our fender].  Grrrr....would you look at that?  Those boys of ours wrote "wash me" in the dirt on the back of my car.

Me: [giggling]

Hubs:  I'm going to go home and write "disown me" in the dirt on the back of their bikes.

LOL!!!!! Too too funny!!!!

That's something my DH would do...LOL!

too funny. :)

That man I live with knows the best detail shop in midtown. He is a clean-car freak. There is a trash can right by where we park, and we all use it. When my parents took the kids out to California in our van one year, they were shocked when at each stop the kids took turns with the little broom that lives in the drawer under the front seat...

What a perfect line! I'll remember to use that one with my kids! Do you think it's a bit rude to use on the neighbours kids after they tear up my driveway with their bikes? Mmm...maybe not! More thoughts on my blog, Elissa.

That is so funny! A good laugh! Meg

:o) He sounds just like my husband! Isn't it great when they can still make us smile?

Sounds like a keeper!
I'd probably let the kids wash the car. :)

That's great!! I laughed out loud. :-)

That was great!

It's great when our guys have a sense of humor....he was joking right?

Thanks for all the work you did for The Dog Days of Summer. That was amazingly fun!

LOL- I thought you were gonna say he was gonna write it in the dirt on the back of their necks!!!

Tooo funny!!! I'm going to have to remember that one!

That was hilarious and too cute. :)

That's hilarious! BTW, are you the one who wrote "wash me" on his car?? LOL! I was thinking that when you giggled at his comment! :)

LOL! My dad's jeep has not been washed for I don't know, years. We had to borrow it while my car was being repaired and the neat freak husband decided to wash it. Since then, the brakes squeek. Dad wasn't too happy. So, as it got dirty again I wrote Test Dirt and the date. The rain and dust soon made the fade out. I had to borrow it again for something and wrote Thanks Dad on the hood. It is still there. He didn't think either was funny. Poor, dad. No respect.
