Blog Slumpishness
Maybe it has something to do with the GIANT CHUNKS OF SHEET ROCK piled ever-so-neatly on my kitchen counter. Or maybe it's the DELIGHTFUL SOUND OF SCRAPING WOOD that I hear the painters doing outside my window. Or maybe it's the fact that tonight we've MOVED THE REFRIGERATOR INTO THE ENTRY WAY to make room for the tile guys (we look like the Clampits).
Hm. Have I mentioned we're remodeling?
Don't get me wrong. I'm very grateful we're able to do this--it's fun to see the new things take shape, and these changes were long overdue. And I promise a picture when it's all done, in (gulp) about six weeks.
But in the meantime, the flying sheet rock dust seems to have sucked all creative thought out of my brain. So to eliminate the pressure of coming up with blog posts of my own during this chaos, I'm going to shamelessly rip off an idea I've seen at some of my other favorite blogs. Next week will be Q&A Week at Rocks In My Dryer.
Go ahead. Ask me anything in the comments section below. (She says with much fear and trembling). What have you wondered about here? What have I not followed up on that I said I would (the list is probably long.)? What do you wish I were writing about? I'll take next week and answer some of those questions.
Not that I think my opinion is all that interesting, mind you--frankly, it baffles me daily that anyone stops by here to read at all. But you'll be getting me off the hook for coming up with blog fodder, so pretty please(?), ask away.
