Who Knew?
I love y'all. I really do.
Who would've ever guessed that blogging about tile grout would elicit over 100 comments?
There is a blogging lesson in this, girls. Forget the big topics like breastfeeding, homeschooling and spanking.
Blog TILE GROUT. Your stats will soar. Who knew?
Thanks for your input, truly.

There's just something about the word "grout" that makes us sit up and take notice...must be the images it conjures :D

That is too funny that you just posted that. I came on over to see just how many comments you elicited!
(So, what was the final verdict?)

Now where all all those lovely comments on my blog when I talk about tile grout?
Oh wait. I haven't talked about that--just about every other thing there is to talk about with a rotting mobile home and a dormant house under construction.
Sigh. I guess, now, I'm going to have to buy tiles to install somewhere just to get that awesome blog feedback...

Thanks to search engines, my two biggest posts were about meatballs and deodorant. Seems everyone's looking for a quick meatball recipe and a reliable solution to underarm stinkiness!

So, I had to get up from the computer (the horror!) to do some mundane tasks, and I was thinking about your grout-thing, and I think I have an explanation. :)
Everyone has an opinion. About everything. Topics like breastfeeding or homeschooling are such personal things that the people with really strong opinions will post. But people that disagree with the majority or have a not-so-strong opinion are afraid to express their opinions. So, they would read, but probably not comment.
But, throw in an inanimate object like grout, about which most of us can formulate an opinion, and it's a free for all. We're not worried about offending you (at least I don't think there is a "light grout defenders league"), or hurting your feelings (since the grout isn't attached to you -- just your house), or making you not like us -- you made it clear that you weren't sure about it either -- so all of our opinions were okay.
That, and we all really like you and want you to be happy with your floor. :)
So, there's my opinion about why everyone felt free to be so opinionated today.
Re-lurking now.
:)

I don't know, makes me want to join the "light grout defenders league" just for the fun of saying it. LGDL'ers unite!!
:)
Glad to see tile grout got some good conversation going.

Holy crap. And I was just going to post all about my boobs to get hits. I guess I need to aim a little lower. LOL

Will it stay or will it go?
Do you expect us to sleep to-night without knowing this??

Oh, yes...that is too good!! The big, vital questions like diaper cream (FiddleDeeDee's most popular post), and now, tile grout tend to make the top of the list for popular mommy-blogger material.

Soo, what did you decide???
We're all waiting in suspense.
We can't breathe until you let us know what you chose.
:-D

LMAO! Naturally. The ones I work on the hardest are usually the ones with the least interest. What does THAT tell ya? ;-)
