My very, very, very favorite children's book in the whole wide world, The Jesus Storybook Bible (I posted about it here) is a finalist for the Top Ten Pictures Books of 2007 at Amazon.com. Consumers can vote, so please consider casting your vote for this excellent book here.
And while you're there, you might as well buy it-- I promise, it will be like no other children's Bible you've ever read before. My three year old loves it and my ten year old loves it. Heck, I love it.

Love it, love it, love it! I have honest-to-goodness CRIED at several of the stories as they point to our need for Jesus and how much he loves us at all costs. Just amazing. Like Him.

I love this book. I bought it because of your suggestion and it is fabulous! I read it to my daughter at home and use it when I teach her Sunday School class. Thanks for the great tip!

My kids and husband also love it. He takes it to church on Wednesday night to read to his boys group. We're getting one for my niece for her birthday as well. (btw...we bought it at your suggestion. :) )

Just bought it for my 4yo for Christmas. Thanks for the heads-up! :-) She's outgrown her toddler Bible and we needed something new for naptime.

I purchased this on your suggestion and it was our favorite devotion of the year. We used the section on Jesus' death and resurection to help our 4 year old accept Christ. What a wonderful moment as a mom

It is HARD to find a good children's bible. We used to read The Toddler's Bible, where all the characters have ping-pong eyeballs and puffed-up hair.

This is perfect timing. The pages in Jake's Bible have started falling out so we were going to get him a new one for Christmas.

I bought this just a month or so ago -- on YOUR recommendation! I can't wait until my nephew is old enough for me to read this to him. (Right now he's more interested in eating books. *g*)

I bought it based on your review and my kids, ages 5 and 7, LOVE it. We've owned it about 3 months. For the first several readings they would cheer when I picked it up to read. We own several children's bibles and this is the only one to get close to this response. My 7 year old was reading it when I tucked him in tonight. Thank you so much for the recommendation!

I remember reading a review on it that you posted and then my best friend, who goes to Tim Keller's church in NYC and is friends with the author (!) told me to get it, that it is lifechanging and I did and my daughter, who is 9, LOVES it, and so do I! I've learned so much! Laurie

I, too, bought this Bible after your review. We have read it through at least 3 times now. I LOVE it! I also bought one for my 4yo nephews birthday. Every story whispers His Name-- and my girls, dh and I see it clearly through this Bible how it ALL relates to Christ. Putting my vote in now!

This is truly a unique book for children. My children and I enjoy it.
I love that it shows how each story has similarities (and points back to) Christ's story.
It has my vote.

"Every story whispers His Name"
Really?... I'm not so sure about that.

I also bought this book on your recommendation and learned through it things that even as a lifelong Catholic I hadn't realised! My kids love it. I have recommended it to my parish priest and our headteacher. Every child should have access to this Bible. Thanks fr the tip!

I bought it, too. I love it so much--FINALLY, a Bible "storybook" that tells the REAL story. I wrote a review about it too on my blog b/c I cried thru the prologue, chapter 1 & chapter 2! I'm reading it to my almost 2 year old and she love her "De-dus" (Jesus) book!

I bought this book solely on your recommendation and am so happy I did. It is our family's favorites. The story of Leah, in my opinion, is worth the price of the book. It really made me think of how every story in the Bible points toward Christ. Every. Single. Story. What a treat this book is! Thanks for reviewing it.
