BRUSSELS TIME: 8:28 am
OKLAHOMA TIME: 1:28 am
...live from the Brussels airport, and there is nary a sprout to be seen.
Get it? Brussels? Sprout?
Ah, the jet-lagged humor. It's the wee hours of the a.m. by my body clock, but here it's mid-morning. There are way too many well-rested Europeans walking about, while I feel (and look) like toast. (Although, in a stroke of mercy and goodness that had to come from the hand of God Himself, Sophie and I each got our own ROW in the flight here.)
Our flight to Kenya (and then on to Uganda) is more or less on schedule--we'll be departing in a couple of hours. And I have an appointment with a very strong sleeping pill.
Our team is fantastic, the flying anxiety is minimal, and God is very, very good.
'Nighty-night.
Oh, by the way, I keep forgetting to tell you--if you're interested in helping us spread the word about Compassion, our team would be ever-so-obliged if you bloggers would consider putting this code in your sidebar during our trip. It will link directly to Compassion. And I'm all twitchy at the mere thought of asking for a link, but it's not for me--it's for those kids. Anyhoo, here's the code:
