Baby Bloggin'

My friend Jenni at One Thing is live-blogging her labor today!  Jenni is funny and eloquent without even trying, so this should be good.  If I had live-blogged any of my labors, my posts would've looked like this:

Ouch.

Grrrr.

#$%@!

Drugs!

Jenni will do a better job, I assure you.

And while we're on the subject of pregnancies, I have a post up at BlogHer today about moms who blog their bedrest.

i've been reading... and i must say if i had tried to liveblog labor it would have been so ugly. i mean bad ugly.

i have been reading too... have to say, as a girl with no babies yet, she is so calm, it doesnt make me so scared... i guess its good you didnt blog ur biths:) i might never have a child
:)

Say, what??

"Oh, hang on, I'll push in a minute.. I want to let my readers know it's time to start pushing..." :P

Brave lady! Even though I think she's crazy, I'm now curious enough to head over and check it out anyway! :)

I'll have to go check this out! I love live-labor blogging. And by the time the baby is born, I'm always so emotionally involved. :)

I have given birth five times, three at home, never with an epidural...I absolutely CANNOT imagine blogging during labor.
I bow before her birthing chair and cry, "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!"

I dont think that I could blog during labor, but then again I have never been in labor so... I would like to think that its a possibility that I could. I know my cousin Ashleigh could do that!!! That is really cool that and Im defiantly going to check it out. I have been watching tlc and u-tube of births and trying to get a really good idea of what will happen.

Shannon,
I just read this article about a very successful mom blogger. I shuddered to think of *my* mom bloggers feeling so stressed. I want to say thanks for all the wisdom you have shared.

Oh Shannon! You forgot to mention that Jenni's live-blogging her labor for her 12th child! And that she's been posting her birthing stories for the other 11 children. She is a terrific writer and I have really enjoyed reading her stories :D

I thought of blogging about my 1 delivery (sounds so puny in light of Jenni's!) but I would scare future mothers to be too much I'm afraid!

I am so private, I couldn't imagine what I would share live blogging with the folks. Only Chris and the nurses and doctor know...and the rest is tucked away in my memory to treasure. What a brave lady. God bless her this day and that lil' one!

Add "Don't touch me!" and my live blogging would have looked very similar to yours.

Wow! Monty Python! I'm impressed. Although 12 babies is pretty impressive in and of itself. Heck, one baby is pretty impressive in and of itself. The Land of Large Stabby Needles is a great place to be, as long as it includes epidurals in the price of admission. LOL!

My thoughts and prayers are with them and the beautiful new guest in their home.

Woah Good Job! 12!

This might sound very weird but does anyone else have the same blogspot background as the curtain pattern in the top baby picture posted April 12???

haha this birth was definitely meant for blogging!

Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
