Yummy
Two-and-a-half years ago I got a random idea to start a blog. At almost exactly the same time, Karen got the same idea. I don't know how we newbies found each other, but we did, and I think we were one of each others' very first commenters. I've read her ever since.
Karen is an accomplished seamstress (I want to sew like this when I grow up!). She and her friend Kate have opened up Bon*Bons, an Etsy shop that will knock your socks off. Look at this stuff:
This Coffee Cuff may be my favorite (too bad I don't drink coffee!) It's only $5--what a fun, inexpensive and eco-friendly birthday gift for a friend:

Head over to Karen's shop. You will be so impressed by the quality and the prices. I'm becoming a bigger fan of Etsy everyday--it is so satisfying to shop for things handmade by enterprising moms!

That is the cutest, sweetest dress I have ever seen!!! She is one talented seamstress!

Ooo, I just love etsy! Especially all the clothes for little ones. I could spend hours just looking at all the different things on there.
And that dress is so adorable :)

that dress is adorable!!
ok, so i have a question...do you have any great ideas of something to do for family friends moving away? something not too much money, but something other friends can sign and write a note on, but that is nice enough it won't go straight to the trash!

I love their stuff too! Please come to my blog and listen to my kids sing The Mama Song. I'm not trying to get anything out of this other than blessing other moms with a great song, and wanted to share it with you because I enjoy your blog!

I can PERSONALLY vouch for Karen's fabulous seamstressing, I bought an item from her Etsy shop, and can't wait for Zachary to fit into it. Also the sweet attitude and kindness she has consistently portrayed on her blog since I've also been reading her since about Day 2 or so. :)

I swear Etsy fever is sweeping the nation. I really need to learn to sew. Or craft. Or make SOMETHING that SOMEONE will buy.
Hmmmm.... I wonder if anyone would like to buy a really long crochet chain. Cuz I'm all about single-stitch crocheting. I can make a LONG, LONG string thingie.

Okay. This is the SECOND time today I've read the term "Etsy Shop" and didn't know what it was. Man. I need to get out more!!
PS: I love LOVE the coffee jacket! I've seen those before, but they were not as cute. I need to head over and buy a few to keep as gifts!
