Time I wasted watching clocks tick: 5 mins 4 seconds. giggle. Does anyone else find it interesting cars are being produced at nearly the same rate as the population growth?

I love the Birthdays Without Pressure site. We decided several years ago to keep it simple. I make individual cakes, we have family and a couple of friends and we make an afternoon of it. We have limited gifts to 3 from us and ask others to limit to 1 or 2. The grandparents sometimes do 3 depending on the gifts they are choosing. Everyone is very understanding of our decisions and very supportive as well. Makes things simpler and about the child instead of the gifts!

I like the one about the birthday parties. I blame only the parents for that. Frankly, I think kids generally have fun just being together! And I did several theme parties for mine when they were little without breaking the bank. It doesn't have to be ridiculous, LOL!
