"...while I do believe even now the Father can heal her, we are walking with hope in the Lord that He will reveal Himself to us in a fresh and mighty way tonight - not that she will defy science or statistics, but that she will be free in Him... and that Conor and I, in the Lord's perfect provision, will perhaps defy what the world says two young parents holding their dying child can never be counted on to do: sing His praises..." -read more-
Dear Heavenly Father,
Keep Copeland and her parents in your loving embrace as they transition through this experience. I ask for their comfort whatever the outcome. Send your Holy Spirit to those of us who pray and hope for them, that we may give them strength during this difficult time.
In Your name we pray this,
Amen

When my faith wavers, the Lord puts stories such as these in my path. They are the very example of Christians, even in their darkest hour, they can find the light of God. May God be with them and their little girls.

I've been following this precious family's journey and I am just amazed at their trust in the Father above.

I sit here and try to listen responsibly to a man who has a forum in our country that should not be allowed and turn on my computer to find this post. A beautiful reminder of why I find peace and strength in Jesus.

I've been through the same situation with my daughter (who also had T18). My heart breaks and cries tears of happiness for them. They get it. They get God's purpose for their lives. It's a beautiful thing. I'm so happy that they are sharing their journey with others.

Thanks for pointing me in their direction. It is so sad and such an inspiration all at the same time. I wrote a post about it if you are interested.
