That kid was awesome. But what's with the players and the coaches in the background with their hands in their pockets? Where I come from (the liberal East coast), we put our hand on our heart when the national anthem is sung.

I see a future American Idol from the kid singing the National Anthem!I have always put myhand over my heart during the National Anthem-strange not to see that in the video.
I ams o glad my children are past playing with toys-now I wonder how lead did they eat?

That 7 year old was amazing. Not a single note off key. It's amazing that at 7, he would know all the words to the National Anthem.

I was impressed with the singer, but the coaches/players should be embarrassed to be caught fidgeting & playing with thier shirts while they are supposed to be standing reverently. even if they don't hold hands over hearts, they could stand still for a whole 90 seconds.

Wow. Hate to even say this after all the serious comments, but my husband just looked at me and said, "poor kid. his voice will change in a couple of years".
