In hopes of highlighting as many clever, creative, women-owned small businesses as possible (and my word, they're everywhere!), I'm hosting a giveaway every Sunday here for the next several weeks. I'm doing as much of my own Christmas shopping as I possibly can with savvy girls like these.
First up, I want to tell you about Sugarhouse Ink. This is where I'm getting my family's Christmas cards this year! I'm having a hard time picking out exactly which one I'll use, but I'm seriously considering this one:
I'll make my final selection once I manage to find a photographic moment in which all six members of this family are happy at the same time. July, maybe?
Sugarhouse Ink (and I love that name, by the way, because, you know, sugar) designs personalized photocards. And not just for the holidays, but for birth announcements, parties, and even wedding invitations. Here are a couple of my favorites:
They also have a blog that offers some really excellent tips for taking good family pictures, which is handy this time of year.
Sugarhouse Ink is giving four readers each a $25 Sugarhouse Ink gift certificate. To enter to win, simply look through their holiday designs (Christmas, Hanukkah, or New Years), and come back here to leave a comment saying which specific design is your favorite (note that the designs don't have names, so just use the name of the family on the card, and let's hope none of those families stop by here and completely freak out that we're talking about them.)
I'll draw four random winners from the comments section on Wednesday. This giveaway is open to U.S. and international residents.

I like the one w/the "Stone Family". Although it was really hard to choose!

I picked the same one as you. i love that the eye goes to the family unity and not necessarily one individual. Although I also like to visually see how each person has changed over the year. I love choices.

I couldn't read the last name, but the card with Jared Emily and Hannah was my favorite. So cute! If I win can I keep that family on there? It would be so interesting to hear the comments: "Wow, they've really lost some weight" and "Where do you suppose the other kids are?"
