I Have Been Ridiculed and Lied To :: Bring the Rain
If you read only one link on this list, make it this one.
America's Prettiest Towns :: Forbes Traveler
Great list, even though I don't think they included enough Southern towns.
Mother Love Is Hard To Explain :: Parenting
Michael Emerson Reading Little Boy Blue :: YouTube
Our favorite creepster Ben Linus can making anything sinister. Somebody get that man an Emmy. (Hat tip to Karen.)
Generation Me:: Newsweek
Central Station Antwerp
You can't watch this without smiling.
Before you think that all of us here in Europe every once in a while just randomly start dancing to musical tunes (how cool would that be, by the way), the bottom link refers to the start of the new television show "Searching for Maria". It's like American Idol, only looking for someone who can play the lead part in the Sound of Music musical..
Thanks for sharing these links, Shannon!

I read the ridiculed and lied to link before coming here. It touched me so much that I passed it on to everyone I know. As I said in those emails, if that doesn't make you want to sponsor every child Compassion has, I don't know what will.

OH my. If a musical song and dance would "spontaneously" break out in front of me like that, I think it would be one of the happiest days of my life. How fun!!! :)

Ok I'm crying again - I cannot take this crybaby stuff! Absolutely one of the best written and photographed stories ever done about Compassion's Work - thank you Shannon for sharing this with us (and no slight intended to all the wonderful photographers and writers who have shared Compassion's work - this was just one that GOT me hard)

Amen to Santa Fe on the prettiest list. I so wish they would show something other than Savannah's fountain when writing on Savannah. And, hello... Charleston??
Thanks for the linkage.
I look forward to it with my coffee on Saturdays!

From complete tears (Angie's post) to complete giggles (Central Station Antwerp).
A Saturday morning breakfast read that has my kids looking at me like I am insane!
