Anyone have any idea who Jack's son's mother is? She's been on the phone a few times, but we've never heard her name. I'm betting it's an important member of the cast, but i just can't figure out who.

If Jacob is a "type of Christ," I don't think that he'll remain dead either. Oh this was fun to find another fan of LOST. (My niece makes such fun of me for this addiction of mine.) You raised some very interesting points that hadn't even clicked for me. I agree with you that there's not time to tie up all the loose ends.
